Contract Faculty Day Spotlight – University of Windsor
March 11 is Contract Faculty Day across Ontario – a day dedicated to recognizing the important contributions that sessional and contract faculty make to our universities.
At the University of Windsor, sessional instructors play a vital role in teaching, mentoring, and supporting students across many programs and disciplines. Their expertise, dedication, and passion for education enrich our students' learning experience and strengthen our academic community.

The parade is an opportunity for local union members to stand proud, celebrate our solidarity and honour the generations of workers who have built and continue to shape our communities. On Monday, September 1, 2025, union members and their families rose together in solidarity, collective action, and community spirit at the Windsor & District Labour Council's Labour Day Parade & Festival - a celebration of workers, unions, and the power of building a better future together.
