Happy Thanksgiving from King’s-Edgehill School

Last week, our community gathered around the table for our annual Thanksgiving dinner, and it was a wonderful reminder of how much we have to be grateful for.

For many of our boarding students, this was their first Thanksgiving away from home. Sharing a meal with friends, faculty, and staff brought a little bit of home to campus, and filled the room with laughter, conversation, and plenty of second helpings.

Thank you to our Chartwells dining team for a delicious meal, and to everyone who helped make the evening so special.

Wherever you are celebrating today, we wish you a happy and restful Thanksgiving with the people you love.

Join the team at King's-Edgehill School!

We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and professional Casual School Driver to join our transportation team.

In this role, you will:

➡️Safely operate school vehicles, including large buses, shuttle buses, and passenger vans
➡️Transport students and staff to athletic events, field trips, airport runs, and other School functions
➡️Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
➡️Bring a calm, positive, and professional presence to every trip

You will need a valid Nova Scotia Class 2 driver's licence with Air Brake Endorsement (or Class 2B), a clean driving abstract, and satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector checks. Previous experience operating buses or passenger vehicles is an asset.

Once again, King’s-Edgehill School was proud to welcome runners, walkers, and families to campus for the start and finish of the Windsor Terry Fox Run. Together, the community of Windsor raised more than $20,000 for cancer research.
 
Thank you to everyone who laced up, volunteered, donated, and stayed for the BBQ afterwards. Terry’s Marathon of Hope continues, one step at a time.

What a week for our Junior School. Grade 6 explored Kingswood Camp, Grade 7 headed to Brier Island, Grade 8 spent time in Berwick, and Grade 9 took on Camp Mockingee.

On every trip, students got to bond as a class, enjoy time outdoors, and learn in ways that go beyond the classroom walls. They came home with new friendships, new skills, and plenty of stories to share.

A huge thank you to our teacher chaperones who gave their time and energy to make these experiences possible!
