Earthsong Forest School We offer a unique hybrid program inspired by Waldorf education, as well as forest school and Reggio-Emilia philosophies.

Earthsong Forest School offers creativity-in-nature programs for children ages 3-6 years to build a relationship with self, nature and community through exploring the arts, music, nature play and yoga in both an indoor and outdoor natural setting. We are passionate about natural childhood and providing a healthy, well-balanced childhood experience with a strong emphasis on the arts and whole-body, interest-led learning. Through making a loving, playful and creative connection with the natural world our children have many and various opportunities to become strong, vibrant, compassionate and resilient.

Our Story

Come out and play!

At Earthsong we engage in natural play and real-life learning adventures in a home-away-from-home for young children that includes the artistic expression of the heart in everything we do.

We are inspired by the forest school philosophy that every being is related to every other being and that developing a heart-centred connection amongst all is the key to nurturing our collective happiness and well-being.

We are also inspired by the Waldorf education philosophy which addresses the needs of the whole human being, body, mind and spirit, in age-appropriate and artistically-rich and vibrant learning processes. Aligning the ‘loose parts’ philosophy from the Reggio Emilia stream rounds out our program to offer a holistic early developmental education for children.
