Good Luck to Our High School Students! 💙

Exam week is here!

Remember: your exams are an opportunity to show what you've learned, but they do not define who you are. Trust your preparation, take your time, and do your best.

Get some rest, stay hydrated, and don't forget to breathe. You've worked hard all year to get to this point.

We are so proud of your dedication, growth, and perseverance. Good luck this week—we're cheering you on every step of the way! 🎉

Believe in yourself. You've got this!

☀️ Summer Tutoring Is Almost Here!

It's hard to believe the school year is nearly over!

Over the past few weeks, many families have been securing their summer tutoring times, and we are grateful for the trust they place in us each year.

Thanks to our extended summer hours, we've been able to accommodate many students, but availability is becoming more limited as July approaches.

Whether your child needs a confidence boost, support with reading or math, help maintaining skills over the summer, or preparation for the next school year, we would be honoured to be part of their journey.

If you're considering summer tutoring, now is a great time to reach out and reserve a time that works best for your family.

Today we had the privilege of celebrating one of our longest-attending students as she graduated!

For an incredible 14 years, she has been part of the Head of the Class family. We have had the joy of watching her grow from a young student into a confident, capable, and beautiful young woman, and we couldn't be more proud of all she has accomplished.

Your hard work, determination, and kindness have made a lasting impression on all of us. It has been an honour to be part of your journey.

Congratulations on your graduation! 🎉 We can't wait to see all the amazing things your future holds. Once a Head of the Class student, always part of the Head of the Class family.

One month until our Publish Your Own Book Club begins. ✨

Young authors are getting ready to turn their ideas into real published books — and we still have a few spots remaining.

Students attend one class per week for 6 weeks, with the choice of:
📖 Tuesdays at 3:00 PM
OR
📖 Thursdays at 7:00 PM

Students will brainstorm, write, illustrate, and learn the real publishing process in a small, supportive group environment. By the end of the program, each student will have their very own published book available on Amazon.ca.

Spaces are intentionally kept small and are almost full.

💥 WHAT’S YOUR SUPERPOWER? 💥

Throughout May, our bulletin board challenged students to answer one simple but powerful question:

“What is your superpower?”

The answers were incredible.

Some students shared talents like being athletic, funny, or strong in math. Others recognized qualities that are even harder to see in themselves—kindness, empathy, compassion, helping others, standing up for what is right, being a good friend, and spreading kindness.

At Head of the Class, we believe learning is about so much more than grades. It’s about helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and recognize the amazing qualities that make them uniquely themselves.

Reading these responses reminded us that every child has something special to offer the world. Sometimes all they need is someone to help them see it.

Thank you to all of our students for sharing your superpowers with us. We couldn’t be more proud.
