Join us for an evening of conversation, connection, and community at the West Hants Pride Lecture Series. 🌈

“What Does Intersectionality Mean in our Community? A Pride Conversation” will explore how identity, rural life, aging, support, and lived experience can shape our journeys in different ways.

We’re honoured to welcome Sharmay Beals Wentzell, Anne Bishop, Robin Metcalfe, and Robert Wright to share their experiences and stories.

When: Sunday, June 21, 5:30–7:00 PM
Where: Three Mile Plains Community Hall

Taxi chits are available for anyone needing transportation support to attend. 🚗

Pride Month is here and it's a time to show support, visibility, and joy for our 2SLGBTQIA+ neighbors, family, and friends. Let's use this month to celebrate, learn and lift each other up.

West Hants area is so lucky to have access to so much great free equipment to use.

The FREE Equipment Loan Program is open for the summer season!

Windsor Coach House: Pickups on Friday with Returns on Monday.
Contact Community Development staff if you require an alternative loan period.

Rural Locations: Pickups and Returns are available at anytime, to fit your schedule. Rural equipment has a maximum loan period if 5 days, with return due by 10pm.

The West Hants Day of Caring will take place on Saturday May 30th, 2026 from 1 PM to 4 PM at the West Hants Sports Complex, 16 Centennial Drive.

This event is for people who are unhoused, at risk of being unhoused, or low-income individuals & families, or those who face other barriers to access services (such as employment hours that prevent you from getting to some of these services)

It will bring together a range of helpful community & government services and supports in one welcoming space, offering community members a chance to connect with resources that may be beneficial to them.

Please help us spread the word! See you this Saturday!
