W.E. Care for Kids - Superhero Spirit Day fundraiser - tomorrow, May 28th!
Dress as a superhero, or come as your Superb self!
Please donate a toonie, if you are able to!
W.E. Care for Kids is a non-profit organization that supports local paediatric healthcare.
W.E. Care for kids is dedicated to bridging the gap in paediatric funding in our community. Their mission is to improve paediatric healthcare in Windsor-Essex by providing vital equipment and resources needed to keep children close to home when they need medical treatment.
W.E. Care for Kids goal is to ensure Windsor-Essex has the essential paediatric medical equipment needed to care for our children locally. By doing so, they aim to reduce the need for families to travel to London or across the border to Detroit for treatment.
They raise funds not only for essential paediatric equipment at Windsor Regional Hospital and Erie Shores Healthcare, but also for programs that enhance the quality of life for kids at facilities such as, John McGivney Children’s Centre, Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association, and the W.E. Care for Kids House, and the Ronald McDonald House of Windsor.
Thank you Ms. Gostenik and Beaton’s student council for organizing and creating the beautifully illustrated posters!
