❄️ Dec 4: Last Day of Fall 2024 Classes (excluding Education)
❄️Dec 5-18: Leddy Library extended hours in effect to support students during final exams. The library will close on Dec 21 and reopen on Jan 2.
❄️ Dec 7-18: Final Exams for Fall 2024 (excluding Law & Education)
❄️ Dec 6-18: Law Final Exams
❄️Dec 16-20: Education: Make up days: Practicum
❄️ Dec 19: Alternate Final Exam Day
❄️Dec 23 - Jan 1: University Offices Closed for December Holiday Recess. Note: Jan 2-10 the UwinCARD Office will be appointment only. Student parking permits in limited supply will be on sale January 2, 2025 at 9:00 AM.

🟡 UPDATE 🟡 - Alert - November 19, 2024, 7:00 AM

Power and internet access have been restored at UWindsor, and operations will resume as usual. The Toldo Lancer Centre, Leddy Library, and CAW Student Centre will reopen during regular hours.

Classes, exams, and winter registration, will proceed as scheduled.

Students affected by Monday's class cancellations or exam postponements are encouraged to contact their instructors directly.

Please note that there may still be some residual effects on certain systems as a result of the external power disruption. These issues, including the uwindsor.ca website, will be resolved today.

🔵 UPDATE 🔵 - Alert - November 18, 2024, 8:35 PM

Power has been restored to several buildings across campus. The Leddy Library, Toldo Lancer Centre, and CAW Student Centre will remain closed for the rest of the night and are expected to resume regular hours tomorrow.

Please note that building access, including the front entrance to residence, may still be disrupted.

Teams are actively working to restore Internet access and bring systems back online.

The power disruption may also be affecting your ability to log in to systems like UWinsite.

An update on UWinsite Student course registration, classes, exams, internet, and other services will be shared early tomorrow morning by 7:30 AM.

Due to the ongoing, yet temporary power issues impacting services across campus, classes have been cancelled and only essential services will be available for the remainder of the day, Monday, November 18.

Shortly after 2 PM, there was a temporary power disruption affecting systems across campus.

While some power and systems are back online, it may take longer in some areas including access to the internet.
