The 4th edition of the Festival du Nain Rouge is coming to historic Mill Street Park in Old Sandwich Town, Windsor! This spring fair celebration is growing! MACCSO celebrates the local legend of the Nain Rouge—the mysterious “red dwarf” of Detroit River lore—and the vibrant French heritage of our region.
We aim to create an atmosphere of quirky charm, community spirit, and playful mystery. There will be concerts, music, dancing, singing and a kid’s corner. We are a family friendly bilingual event!
Join us in weaving a little magic along the Detroit River. Let’s celebrate the legend, the history, and the vibrant creative spirit of our community in a day of playful springtime revelry.

This year, I had the honour of being a hole sponsor for Connections Early Years Family Centre⛳an organization doing vital work to support young children and families in our community.

As a local French children’s author and educator, I know how crucial the early years are in a child’s development. These early experiences shape who they become emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

Cette année, j’ai eu l’honneur d’être commanditaire d’un trou pour Connections Early Years Family Centre⛳💙 — un organisme essentiel qui soutient les jeunes enfants et les familles de notre communauté.

En tant qu’auteure jeunesse francophone et éducatrice, je comprends l’importance des premières années de la vie. C’est durant cette période que se développent les bases de l’apprentissage, de l’identité et de la confiance en soi.

Redonner, c’est investir dans l’avenir. Que ce soit par le temps, les ressources ou les partenariats, chacun de nous peut faire une différence.

I had a blast at the Spring Conference this year. I presented which was a first for me. I got to see in concert and met a fellow teacher and published author .moitrilingue. The sessions I went to were well done and I loved being able to network with fellow French teachers from across Ontario. If you haven’t been to an OMLTA conference, consider attending next year’s.

J’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à participer à la conférence de printemps de cette année. J’ai présenté un exposé, ce qui était une première pour moi. J’ai pu voir Missy D en concert et j’ai rencontré une collègue et auteure publié. Les sessions auxquelles j’ai assisté étaient bien faites et j’ai adoré pouvoir réseauter avec d’autres enseignants de français de tout l’Ontario. Si vous n’avez jamais assisté à une conférence de l’AOPLV pensez à participer à celle de l’année prochaine.

Our kindergarten class was learning about 2D shapes. We introduced a weekly artist, looked at their work and then created our own inspired art. I’m obsessed with how well they did and how it brightens up our classroom.❤️
