🗣International Justice Day🗣

🫂This International Justice Day, we highlight Dr. Denis Mukwege who was awarded the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize.

Mukwege is the foremost, most unifying symbol, both nationally and internationally, of the struggle to end sexual violence in war and armed conflicts.

The Faculty of Science EDI Taskforce is proud to host another monthly virtual drop-in sessions “Let’s grab a COFFEE.D.I.” Join us this Thursday with the Taskforce’s Student Working Group at 12 PM. 🫂 This Women’s Day our team would like to Spotlight Dr. Catherine Febria of The Healthy Headwaters Lab here at GLIER. Within the UN the year 2022 is pivotal for achieving gender equality in the context of climate change, making her work the perfect feature!

Her team co-produces knowledge with their partners and co-develop sustainable solutions for fresh water systems in Turtle Island and beyond.
