Since 1982, May has been recognized as Child Care Month in BC, and this year, May 8th has been proclaimed Child Care Provider Appreciation Day.

This special day is an opportunity to honour, celebrate, and recognize the important role child care providers play in the lives of children and families throughout our communities.

Pink Shirt Day is an annual anti-bullying movement that began in Canada in 2007, when two students stood up for a classmate who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt.
Since then we continue to support kindness, inclusion, and standing up against bullying!
