Update #5: God is so good! Let us celebrate with thanksgiving, to God, to our community of supporters, and to our families, for all of their generosity! We still have work to do, but tonight, let us give thanks.

And just like that, our Bayanthan Dinner is completely Sold Out!! Thank you to our amazing community for your support! It is going to be a fabulous night! 🥳💃🕺🏆🎉

My apologies in the delay in posting this. It was emailed out to our community Friday evening. We are feeling very hopeful as donations continue to come in! Never-ending gratitude and deep thanks to everyone who has supported us in staying open!

We are overjoyed to share the Board's decision to rescind our school's closure, on a conditional basis. Please see letter below, and once again thank you truly for all your support of our school!

Please see attached Update #2 from the Board. They are meeting next week (I believe on the 6th) and so all donations and enrolments received by then will help inform their decision making process. Once again, we thank you all for your support, for getting your registrations packages in, and for your donations. You are an absolutely amazing, life-changing community!

We are sending Re-Registration Packages home with students today! Please fill these out and return as soon as possible, so we can share projected enrolment numbers with the Board to inform their decision making process. Registration packages will also be available for new students, and once they are filled out and returned, the Principal will contact you to set up an interview.
Next week is Catholic Schools Week, and we invite current families and parishioners to join us for our Spelling Bee, Sledding, Skating and Movie afternoons below (Tuesday to Friday). It is a good time to celebrate all the reasons we love Sacred Heart Catholic School!

Please see the attached update from our Board, and the first step towards keeping our school open! We are so extremely grateful for everyone's support.

While we continue to wait for the Board's response, I just want to say how immensely grateful we all are for your mind-blowing outpouring of support. In the 48 hrs after Monday night's meeting, you raised an incredible amount of funds in pledges and donations! That is something incredible we want to celebrate! This amazing community of parents, grandparents, parishioners, and the greater business community of Williams Lake, has shown us how much you love and support our school. Thank you to everyone who wrote letters of support, including our City Counsel, and all who sent in your testimonies. Thank you to everyone who has connected to tell staff you support them. You have given us so much encouragement, and there will be more specific thanks to come, but as we all continue waiting for news tonight, I wanted you to know how much you all mean to us. Thank you from the bottom of my (our) heart.
