Elizabeth Cushnie Voice Studio encompasses a beginner to novice general voice lesson aged 9 to 30 for those who love to sing recreationally. Lessons are one hour in length and are taught Monday to Friday. In addition, ECVS specializes in an extensive pre-training program targeted for youth who intend to pursue post secondary education in vocal studies. There is no experience needed for admission minimum age of entry is 9 years. The pre-training program requires students aged 15 and older to take two lessons per week. One lesson is devoted exclusively to the development of technique, the second lesson is a repertoire class to allow students to build the necessary components needed for post secondary education. All styles of singing will be taught technique is based upon bel canto principals and Royal Conservatory guidelines. Music and practice tracks are incorporated into the studio fee. There are additional charges for accompaniment in rehearsal and performance. Students are asked to participate in our annual Christmas concert and to participate in studio wide masterclasses and ensemble numbers. Lessons are on going year-round. Lesson registration must be completed for September no later then August 25th, 2017 for the 2017 – 18 classes. Registration is on now for Summer!
