🌸 Celebrating International Women’s Day at Teddy Bear! 🌸

Our little ones shared flowers and handmade surprises with the most special women in their lives, their moms and grandmas. 💐

There were bright smiles, warm hugs, and beautiful roses as children proudly gave their gifts and said “Happy Women’s Day!”

It was a wonderful moment full of love and joy. ❤️

We wish a very happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women, mothers, grandmothers, educators, and caregivers, who fill children’s lives with kindness, strength, and love.

✨ Yukon Heritage Day: Gold Rush Sensory Fun! ✨
We had so much fun playing with our Gold Rush Sensory Bin and doing a Gold Panning Activity. Children searched for “gold,” sifted through sand, discovered hidden treasures, and strengthened their fine motor skills along the way.

A beautiful day filled with love and learning. ❤️

Happy Valentine’s Day!

✨ Here are just some of the highlights of the year we’d love to share: ✨

🧸 We renovated our space and refreshed our environment with new furniture, toys, and learning materials.

🐣 We hatched chicks in our incubator, watched them grow, and then lovingly sent them off to a farm.

📸 We held a professional photo session for our graduates and celebrated a graduation party for 15 children as they moved on to their next big adventure.

🎉 We celebrated our incredible staff with two staff appreciation parties!

🦙We went on exciting field trips — visiting Carcross, feeding alpacas, riding dog sleds, and exploring a museum.

🚓 We welcomed special guests — police officers, paramedics, and a conservation officer — who taught children about safety and helping others.

🦬 We visited the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, MacBride Museum, Transportation Museum, Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre, took part in a Fish Ladder Tour, enjoyed Arts in the Park, and visited the Fire Hall — learning more about the world around us.

🪔🎃 We celebrated Diwali and Halloween, filling our days with culture, creativity, and fun.

✈️ We had a fantastic tour of the Air North hangar and even got to look inside the pilot’s cabin.

💚 We had crazy fun with the Grinch.

🎅 We wrote letters to Santa, sent them off, and even received replies — pure magic for the children!

❄️ We hosted a winter party for 100 families, bringing our community together in a joyful celebration.

🎈 We successfully ran three camps this year — spring, summer, and winter — packed with activities, friendships, and memories.

Thank you to our children, families, and staff for being part of our daycare family. This year reminded us once again why what we do matters so much.
