Shawna Hindson holds a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Management and is an Early Childhood Educator with over thirty years’ experience in the early learning and family support sector. Shawna is passionate about supporting meaningful change and growth in the early learning community. Her experience in child originated programming has fueled her desire to share her knowledge on ways we can engage learning communities in practices that recognize and value the competent, capable child and educator. Shawna has spoken at various conferences and provides workshops on the alignment of philosophy and practice, relationship driven practices, and inquiry-based learning.

Maggie Powter holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a Master’s in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. Her passion for inquiry-based learning has led her consulting career, where she has supported early learning programs and educators in understanding inquiry-based teaching and emergent curriculum, social and emotional learning, relationship driven practice, development of vision and philosophy, and more. Maggie has spoken at conferences and offered workshops that are engaging, interactive and practical.
