Submit your story for the Active Voice Story Contest before November 15!

This year’s theme is, Family and Chosen Family.

Tell us a story about what family means to you or a story honouring someone who is family or who you consider part of your family.

What does the word "family" conjure up for you? Who do you consider to be your family and why? Is it people who you chose, or who chose you? What connects us—family blood ties, experience or shared values?

Tell your story in your own voice.

Submissions can include the following:
→ A written short story: max 600 words.
→ A short video: 3-5 minutes long.
→ A voice recording: 3-5 minutes long.

Winners will have a chance to add their own story to the conversation, get their work published online, and share the stage with author and journalist Waubgeshig Rice.

The FH Collins rugby team made the trip to Calgary this past weekend for the third consecutive year to compete in the Clearwater Cup - the largest high school rugby 7s tournament in the country. A big congratulations to all the players and coaches involved. As always, a massive thank you to Lotteries Yukon for helping to get the squad there and to the Henry Wise Wood Warriors for being amazing hosts!

Our Grade 12’s hosted a very successful Capstone Fair. Bravo!👏
