EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!!!

June's employee of the month is Miss Pheobee-Ann Lyons!! Miss Pheobee is new to the team but well known to all! She is our OHS representative and a substitute educator.

She has worked in childcare for five years ( since 2022 I think that’s five lol)
Her favourite thing about daycare is getting to build relationships with the children while they grow and help them learn how to deal with big emotions.
Het future goals I have is to one day become a director and we all know this is completely achievable for her!!

July's employee of the month is Miss Teagan!!!!!!

She has now been a summer student for 2 years and is always a welcome addition to the team! She is so kind and knowledgeable and always brings a positive attitude everyday!
She started in childcare almost 4 years ago as a practicum student at Grant MacEwan university
Her favourite things about daycare are the relationships she builds with the children, families, and educators who she works alongside with. Some of her future goals are to graduate with her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood curriculum studies this spring!!!!

Our hearts are so full after celebrating the most incredible group of graduates. Friday was filled with laughter, happy tears, hugs, and so much pride as we celebrated the amazing little people who have left their footprints on our hearts.

To our graduates, thank you for letting us be a small part of your story. Watching you grow into confident, curious, and capable children has been one of our greatest privileges. We know you will do wonderful things, and we will always be cheering you on.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your greatest gifts. Sharing these years with you has meant more than words can say.

Lila and Evie raised $521.80 at their awesome lemonade stand in front of the Repeat Boutique today. WAY TO GO GIRLS!!!! They donated it to the CT Scanner fundraiser - THANK YOU SO MUCH GIRLS!!!!

A heartfelt thank you to Canfor for the beautiful flowers and planter boxes outside our daycare! Your generosity has brought so much beauty, warmth, and life to our outdoor environment for the children, families, and educators to enjoy each day.

Through the Flight Framework lens, these natural additions become more than decorations. They create opportunities for the children to notice, name, and nurture the world around them. The children are slowing down to observe colours, textures, smells, insects, growth, and change while building relationships with the natural world and their community.

These meaningful moments spark curiosity, wonder, conversations, creativity, and a deeper sense of belonging as the children learn through nature and connection each day.
