Blossoms & Roots Nature Inspired Child Care

10/07/2026

Our annual trip to the pumpkin patch is always such a special day! What a wonderful opportunity for our families and team members from all of our centres to come together, connect and enjoy this beautiful season.

We love bringing pumpkins back with us, where they become part of weeks of exploring, creating and learning with the children.🎃

We are so grateful for the families, children, Hazelmere pumpkin patch and our team who make these special moments and memories possible. 🌻🍂

This month we’ve been exploring all things apples!
We made apple-cinnamon play dough, held an apple tasting party, learned about the life cycle of an apple tree and much more. Our hands on activities help develop math, social and language skills through carefully prepared invitations to play 🍎

🌸 Employee Spotlight: Meet Miss Pooja! 🌱

We’re so excited to introduce Miss Pooja, our Employee Spotlight of the Month and our very first spotlight from our new Cranbrook location! 🎉

Miss Pooja is an Early Childhood Educator Assistant who has a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting them throughout their early learning journey. She loves creating a warm, safe, and playful environment where children feel happy, confident, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

One of her favourite parts of being an educator is watching children learn new skills, reach new milestones, and develop their own unique personalities each day. 💛

We’re so happy to have Miss Pooja as part of our growing Blossoms & Roots team and helping us bring the heart of B&R to our new Cranbrook community! 🌸🌱

Say hello to Miss Pooja! 👋

We love taking walks and exploring nature! The children enjoyed finding leaves and throwing them over the bridge to watch them flow down the river. We are so happy to have our new Cranbrook location in this beautiful city!

🌸 Employee Spotlight: Mikayla 🌸

This month we’re excited to celebrate Mikayla, one of our amazing educators! 💛

Mikayla’s passion for working with children shines through in everything she does. With several years of coaching gymnastics for children ages 3–5, she brings incredible energy, patience, and enthusiasm to our classrooms. She loves following each child’s interests, encouraging curiosity, and celebrating every milestone—big and small. Her caring nature and commitment to helping children learn through exploration make her a truly valued member of the Blossoms & Roots family.

We’re so grateful to have Mikayla on our team and for the positive impact she has on our children each and every day! 🌱✨
