“SIGNS AND WONDERS” Book - Chapter 21 and Page 97-98 “Journey to California 1889” Part #2
The meeting was not advertised. The people did not know what was going to be done there. The first night 23 people came. They felt that God was there. I told them that God had sent us there, and there would be a great work done, that hundreds would be saved. In a few days, the tent could not hold the crowds that would come to hear the gospel.
The Christians came from all the churches to help of the Lord against the mighty, with their prayers and with their means. They advertised the meetings largely in different ways. The interest increased every service. In about a week the tent was crowded.
The first five converts were five old persons from 65 to 75 years of age. The people kept coming to the altar to be saved and healed of all their diseases, old and young, until several thousand were happy in Jesus, and many could testify that Jesus had saved their souls and healed their bodies.
It was wonderful sight to see hundreds and sometimes thousands crowding around the tent, many times standing in the rain, trying to get near enough to hear the preached word. The Christians said we must have a larger tent to hold the multitudes. They ordered one at once, costing $1,325, with a capacity of holding 8,000 people. In a short time it was made and on the grounds ready for dedicatory service.
People came to the meetings from nearly all parts of the world. God drew by His Spirit many of His children from the eastern, western, northern, and southern states. They were baptized with power from on high. Many sailors came from all parts of the world together with the captains of the vessels. One captain and his wife were saved and 12 of their crew before they left.” (Continued in Part #3)

The Kingdom of God is a reversal from earth’s status quo. If we want to walk in its fullness, we’ll have to accept cross-cultural experiences. The Kingdom is so different from our old way of thinking, feeling, doing, and relating that we’ll need new paradigms and perceptions.
Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.

Psalm 40:2 says, “He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” Jesus gives us a firm foundation to build our lives upon. He will never stop pursuing us to come back to Him.
No matter how far we’ve run from God, He still sees us as His beloved child.

Both Judas and Peter deny Jesus, one hangs himself and the other becomes the head of the church. At the time of resurrection Jesus spoke to Mary, saying “ go and tell my disciples, including Peter.” Even though Peter “failed” Jesus was still faithful to include him.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Psalm 23:1-6 ESV

1st & 2nd Year based on Curriculum:
The 1st Year BSSM Curriculum is a program designed to create an environment where students can safely take risks as they learn and develop a lifestyle of character and supernatural ministry. The organization of the lessons in the curriculum sequentially follows the BSSM school year, which takes into account the emotional and spiritual development of the students.
The curriculum focuses on developing a revival culture and a lifestyle of the supernatural through teaching about our identity in Christ and how to operate in signs & wonders. These are foundational messages in the culture of revival at BSSM. There is also a strong emphasis on Biblical studies, healing, developing a prophetic culture, and demonstrating the gospel with power. This curriculum will produce a well-rounded program that will activate students in the supernatural.
The 2nd Year BSSM Curriculum program is designed to build upon the 1st Year Curriculum, by focusing on training in practical leadership principles, apostolic governmental structures, deeper activation of the gifts of the Spirit, and more in-depth exegetical Bible study. There is also a strong emphasis on learning how to lead people and how to steward spiritual inheritance for a revival that never ends!
