To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of this but I have to admit the farms have started to grow on me. As many of you put it - at least I can make onion rings 🧅 💍

When I proposed we go on all-inclusive vacations, he somehow convinced me to spend that money in acquiring farms and reassured me that we can afford many more vacations this way. But he didn’t say how long that would take. Someone tell me that I didn’t just get scammed by my farmer husband.

We booked a weekend getaway at North Vancouver and stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton North Vancouver 🍁 and it was such a good choice for our family of four!

We tried out two room types so you’ll know what to choose if you’re traveling as a family together:

1. If you’re all sharing one space: the Social Hub Room — 2 queen beds, a full kitchen, AND a living area, so nobody’s stepping over suitcases at 7am.

2. If your crew needs its own corners (looking at you, teenagers): interconnected rooms — 1 standard king + 2 queens, so everyone gets space but you’re still one door away from the chaos 🤣.

And somehow all of it is 5 minutes from Deep Cove kayaks, ice cream, lunch spots and cute local bookstores and cafes, and the Shipyards.
