am seeking a full-time placement (or a two) around 12-13 months old for November. If you are looking for really intimate care from a loving provider, you have found it!

My son is 13 months old and has absolutely loved having a buddy in our care, however, they are moving onto a licensed centre and we are seeking one or two new friends as a replacement. I can accommodate hours from 5:30AM to 5:00PM. Full-time cost is $50 per day inclusive of all nutritional breaks.

I am a Child and Youth Care practitioner with years of experience working and managing childcare centers. I am currently continuing my education online and I’m taking this opportunity to open my home during the day so that my son and your little one can receive lots of socialization, outdoor play, nutritional meals, sensory stimulation, and art activities to keep them engaged and happy. We have a beautiful space in a lower unit designed intentionally for play and exploration. We are also a screen free home! We have a beautiful fenced in backyard space and a double stroller for daily walks to the park and through the trails. I have vulnerable sector checks available for both myself and my husband.

Step into our “sensory hallway” where children can meet their sensory needs, explore, learn, and emotionally regulate.

Our sensory hallway features climbing mats, a giant wall mounted busy board, a Tonie box for child led music and auditory book selections, pull up bar with a large child friendly mirror, sensory books at the child’s level, and meaningful books. Book selections are frequently rotated to keep the space exciting and new. Sensory toys, stuffed companions, and other resources are often added to enhance the space daily.

At Sweet Pea scholars we love to bake and cook together! That’s why our toddler tower is so important! Our toddler tower helps keep your child safe while they transform into the chefs assistant.

When we aren’t cooking in the kitchen the toddler tower remains a staple as it transforms into an activity tower with sensory activities, chalkboard, and puzzles. We also have a folding mat which can be placed within the kitchen to be utilized as an additional playspace for independent play or small group play.

In the livingroom we have a comfortable couch, large carpeted playspace, and a dresser filled with educational resources and toys to help support your child’s goals and interests.

Fun fact, our wall transforms into a whiteboard to be used for class lessons, discussions, and art activities. How fun!

Our childcare spaces are screen free removing the temptation and distraction from your child so that they can participate in social interaction and hands on activities within the program.
