π Important notice for residents π
On June 2 and 3, Durham Region is conducting a Nuclear Public Alerting System Test.
Residents are reminded that there is no emergency. This is a test only.
During daytime hours, on June 2, an auto dialer will call listed landline phone βοΈ numbers within 10 kilometres of the nuclear-generating stations.
On June 3, outdoor sirens π¨ will sound for up to three minutes. The sirens are within three kilometres of the stations and will be heard by people outdoors and in that area.
