All tutoring sessions are delivered via the Zoom app right to the comfort of your own home. I provide all the material needed for the lesson which is tailored specifically to your needs. I maintain an up-to-date background check: vulnerable sector for my other teaching positions and can provide proof of completion upon request.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts Honours - French and Francophone Studies,Trent University (President's and Dean's List)
- Currently enrolled in the B.Ed program at Trent University for Intermediate/Senior French
- 1 year of supply teaching for Conseil Scolaire Catholique MonAvenir
- 1.5 years of french tutoring experience with several clients of varying age
- 5 years of teaching experience in drama studies in an alternative environment
- over 7 years of experience working directly with kids ages 6-18

Hey, my name is Nicole, I am currently finishing my Undergraduate degree in French Language Studies at Trent University. For the past 6 years I have been travelling (spending long periods of time in french speaking countries), getting a college education in theatre and film studies, and for the past 3 years, teaching drama at the Whitby Courthouse Theatre Youth Group (WCTYG).

At WCTYG I run the program from an administrative point of view as well as working directly with the kids (ages 10 to 17) on acting skills, teambuilding, and movement.

I have a french background and attended french immersion school, as well as one year in a French Immersion program at the University of Ottawa. I will be attending teacher's college starting in the fall of 2019 to become an OCT certified French teacher.

- My rate is $50 for 1 hour of tutoring.
- Consultation is free, let's meet first to find out what you/your child's needs are and whether we are the right fit.
- I come to you as long as a parent/guardian is home at the same time, otherwise we can arrange to meet at the public library most convenient for you/your child.
- I have experience working with youth both from the WCTYG as well as other work related experiences.
- Proof of completed background check and references are available upon request.
