Brock Road and Highway 401 CN Overpass Rehabilitation Project
The following service disruption notice is being shared on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation.
Although this work is not being led by the City of Pickering, construction may affect traffic flow, travel times, and access for residents.
Closure: Highway 401 Eastbound N/S–E ramp at Brock Road will be fully closed on March 29, 2026, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM to facilitate emergency concrete repairs.
This closure is necessary to ensure the safety and integrity of the infrastructure. During this time, all lanes of the ramp will be unavailable, and motorists will be required to use alternate routes.
Project Background
The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario is carrying out rehabilitation work in the Brock Road and Highway 401 area.
This project will help maintain critical transportation infrastructure and support the safe movement of people and goods through an important regional corridor.
