St. Michael's Hospital Nurses' Alumnae

The 2025 St. Michael's Alumnae Luncheon went very well with 107 attendees. It was wonderful to see some new faces and, of course, those that are regular attendees. The 1965 Grads had their main 60th celebration that afternoon and the 1975 Grads had a smaller group of ladies attend for their 50th. Smiles all around. May be you can spot someone you know in the pictures.

The 2024 SMH Nurses' Alumnae Luncheon went well with 111 attendees. The class of 1964 celebrated their 60th anniversary and everyone looked quite spry. These nurses know how to have a good time with one another and exchange wonderful memories. It was great to see many regulars and we hope to see them again next year on May 31st, 2025.

2023 Luncheon

We had a great luncheon this year with 126 alumnae attendees. Great to get together again and will post some pictures including the 1963 class that celebrated their 60th graduation anniversary with us at the Sheraton.

It is with great sadness we share that our friend and colleague Maureen Armstrong passed away this week-end. Maureen worked at St. Michael's full-time for 37 years in the Women's Health Care Centre in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Colposcopy and another 7 years as a casual nurse after her retirement. In addition, Maureen was a certified Lactation Consultant, teaching breast feeding classes for new parents. Maureen was a highly skilled nurse and a steadfast colleague; her passion, compassion and vibrancy will be missed by all those that loved her. A memorial will be held for Maureen next month.
