🚒👨‍🚒 Community Helpers Month at First Milestones! 👨‍🚒🚒

Today, our little learners had an exciting visit from local firefighters as part of our Community Helpers monthly theme!

The children had the opportunity to meet real firefighters, learn about their important role in keeping our community safe, and explore some of the special equipment they use in their daily work. The firefighters spoke with the children about fire safety, emergency situations, and how they help people when they are in need.

One of the most exciting moments was getting an up close look at the fire truck and seeing many of the tools and gear that firefighters use to protect our community. The children were full of curiosity, asked wonderful questions, and enjoyed every moment of this hands on learning experience.

A huge thank you to our firefighters for taking the time to visit First Milestones and inspire our young learners. Experiences like these help children develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the amazing community helpers who work hard to keep us safe every day!

⚽️❤️ Daddy & Me Sports Day ❤️⚽️

The Father’s Day fun continued at First Milestones with our exciting Daddy & Me Sports Games! Our little toddlers were thrilled to team up with their dads for a morning filled with laughter, movement, and friendly competition.

From kicking soccer balls to participating in fun challenges together, the children had an amazing time creating special memories with their fathers. Although the little ones were having a blast, we think the dads may have enjoyed it even more! 😄

At First Milestones, we cherish opportunities to celebrate the important people in our children’s lives, and today was a wonderful reminder of the joy, love, and connection that make these moments so meaningful.

What a wonderful Father’s Day celebration we had at First Milestones! Our children were thrilled to welcome their dads for a special morning filled with laughter, connection, and fun sports games.

🚑 Learning About Community Helpers 🚑

Today, our First Milestones children had a wonderful opportunity to learn about one of the most important community helpers, paramedics!

Through an engaging visit, children explored how paramedics help people during emergencies and keep our communities safe. They had the chance to see some of the equipment paramedics use, learn about staying safe, and ask questions about their important work.

This experience supported children’s understanding of the world around them while encouraging curiosity, communication, and critical thinking. Learning directly from community helpers helps children develop confidence, empathy, and appreciation for the people who care for others every day.
