Woodland Realm

As the last two weeks of summer camp passed by, we’ve made so many great memories and done fun activities to always remember!
Getting the kids outside and interacting with nature can teach them so many skills.
We’re so happy to have given these kids a great summer in the woods and exploring the land!
Really hope to see them all next year!

Live music happening this Saturday, August 5th from 5pm-7pm!!! We are pleased to have Newfoundland’s own Johnny Reid play at The Boathouse! We can’t wait to see you!

On Thursday we took the kids on a little adventure into whitbourne!
We walked to the historical train station where they seen all the cool artifacts and learned a little about the history of Whitbourne.
The kids had a nice time in the library, and story time was great!
After dinner the kids enjoyed the rest of the day playing in the splash pad where they got the opportunity to take a break from the heat and have some fun!
We all cannot wait to see the kids next week and help give them a memorable, safe and fun summer!

So the month is almost done and so far it has been amazing.
Learning life skills, getting outside our comfort zones, making memories, and most importantly having so much fun!
We built shelters, used tools and conversation to resolve concerns, found colors in nature, crafted, painted. We created now and arrows, we created fishing poles ( and had a few nibbles!!) We explored the land around us and played in the water too.

The first week is not over yet but it's been a blast so far!

What will your child be doing this summer?
Anticipate them having too much screen time?
Let them know they can play games like Minecraft in the real world ..... learn how to build fires (safely), craft tools, farm and build houses with natural supplies.

Great news!
As we anticipate our home being completed by end of May, we are hoping to be offering a Younglings program ages 3 to 5 as well as Afterschool Adventures Camp from 230pm to 6 Monday to Friday.

Based on weekly rates and registration.
Adults get to pick which week and how many weeks they want their child having a fort building, damn creating, physical and social skill developing adventure.

Summer camp registration has begun! Exciting!!
Cost: $150 weekly
Snacks and adventure provided.
