Using some of our 5 senses to explore some fresh herbs, in the beautiful sunshine ☀️

The tray was set up with some scissors to do some cutting and chopping, and naturally the herbs later made their way into some mud kitchen creations 🌿

Wishing a very Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, grandmas, and mother figures out there! Thank you for all you do✨ 💐 💖

We set out this tray of loose parts during morning free play - we had been exploring so much about flowers in the previous days that maybe some could be created with random materials.

There was no examples for them to look at or instructions given - and look what was created 🥹

Some of these materials may be “trash” to some, but they are some of our most loved and used materials to create with! 🌼
