With summer vacation in full swing, we’re reflecting on all the memories made in the 2023/24 academic year.

And we have to be honest… we are pretty filled with nostalgia! From exciting adventures to new friendships, each moment has left an indelible mark.

With a low staff-to-student ratio, we provide individualized attention and support. Our flexible approach, combined with high expectations, creates an exceptional environment for growth. By working against the challenges of larger educational settings, we create opportunities for success!

One of the major benefits of our alternative learning program is the flexibility that comes with providing students opportunities to learn outside of a traditional classroom environment.

We find that taking learning out of the classroom produces greater opportunities to learn in diverse setting AND fosters a sense of community.

This involvement nurtures civic responsibility, empathy, and a sense of belonging in our beautiful Whistler community! And who doesn’t enjoy meeting new friends along the way? 🐾

Offering expanded learning opportunities through regular field trips provides access to resources and experts that may not be available within the school environment!

Students can interact with professionals in their field of interest, ask questions, and gain insights from their expertise 🤓

And what’s more, they often involve hands-on activities, experiments, and interactive exhibits that engage students actively in the learning process. This experiential learning approach allows students to explore and discover new concepts in a practical and memorable way!
