Welp!! This is a bit of a later post, however today I would like to celebrate a huge milestone and some congratulations are in order. Ephram successfully completed his PPL after transferring over to me in need of getting completed in relatively short time before carrying on to his hockey career with the NCAA. His dedication and effort, along with a little trust in me, lead to a very successful flight test and his license signed off all before heading out!! All the best to you Ephram and I’ll see you Christmas break for that night rating!!

Another wing shot Wednesday! Obviously not too horribly new photos no thanks to this STUPID central Alberta weather this week.

Quick reminder of a few things going on. Registration for my 2 accelerated PPL Groundschool dates are still open, however, space is starting to run out so make sure you message me for registration details before the last 2 of the season close!!

NEW SOLO ALERT!! Please help me welcome Denver to the ranks of solo pilots!! He went out and flew his PA22 perfectly, just before the smoke started to roll through!!

I’ve had lots of people asking about my remaining 2026 Live Online Ground School dates, so here they are!

These are our final two courses before the new year:

HAPPY CANADA DAY and ANOTHER success story for Wendy with KR Flight Instruction!! Wendy worked so extremely hard with me for the last 8 months and successfully passed her PPL. She is now off to work on her float endorsement along with tailwheel training and a night rating with me in the fall. I am so unbelievably proud of you and you are proof that persistence and dedication toward your passions really do pay off! To any of those that follow or even see this post, you too can be a success story with me!

My fellow aviators!! I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your continued support with my adventures with KR Flight Instruction as well as to all of those interested in attending my next accelerated PPL Ground school. All information will be communicated first thing tomorrow morning for all of those who have registered!

I am extending the cut off for registrations by 24 hours as 1 member is not able to attend any longer and have 1 remaining spot. Registration closes tomorrow June 23,2026 at 2359 MST). If you are wanting to start your summer with a completed PPAER exam and wanting to keep flying while the summer weather is here, you really don’t want to miss this opportunity to get it done in 4 DAYS!

Registration for partial topics including air law, meteorology, flight operations, aircraft, engines, systems also available. Message me to find out how you can get in and register tonight as you will legitimately not want to miss this one!

My fellow aviators!! Please help me welcome Jessie to our newest ranks to the PPL community! ✈️

Jessie reached out to me after having previously trying for 5 years to get through her PPAER written exam. She attended my accelerated PPL Ground School in Rocky Mountain House and passed on her first attempt.

Afterwards, after a summers worth of work in Whitehorse, she returned back and began flying with me in February after having gone through multiple FTUs and training programs. Well, after her hard work and dedication, she successfully passed her PPL flight test, only to return to another summer filled with adventures, cabins and outdoorsy kinda work just a day later.

I am so incredibly proud to have been Jessie’s instructor and look forward to resuming her CPL later in the fall. Bask in all of the glory! ⭐️

URGENT ACTION!!

Hey everyone, I figured it best to post a more personable post to this page for all of those that are interested 😃

I just wanted to let everyone know that my upcoming June Accelerated PPL Groundschool will most likely be the last of the summer, largely due to summer commitments and anticipated flying load.

So!!!! To all of those interested, please shoot me a DM or text. Share it with your friends, neighbours, partners in crime, children or maybe even your worst enemy 😉. No more waiting around for 16 weeks to finish up a PPL Ground School 2 days a week in the evenings. You will be provided with a letter of completion at the end of the course as well as a letter of recommendation to attempt the PPAER if you meet the eligibility requirements too! Even better? This will all be done via Microsoft Teams, so you can ask real questions, in real time, and get real answers from anywhere in the country!

No more waiting around, message me for details on registration and price and let’s get you finished what is arguably the most challenging part of your aviation goals!!!
