Remember that Zoom/FaceTime is a viable lesson option should piano students have any symptoms of being unwell, there is inclement weather, poor road conditions or otherwise unable to attend in person.

Tuesday night musings… 🎶…

It really is a privilege to teach piano lessons, the relationship that develops over the 🎹 that allows me insight into preferences, interests, hobbies, passions, personality, humour, intellect, spirit…that helps me help students to explore opportunities to make music soar, even at the earliest of years to connect with their music on a personal experience level.

So aware that lessons don’t last forever, life changes and people move on.

Current students had birthdays through the summer, a former student had a birthday in August and another today 🎉 🧁 I was struck at how each of them have impacted me…and what a treat to remain connected beyond the piano.

As I reflect on all the special humans I’ve been allowed to share the musical journey with, I hope that I’ve imparted a fraction of what they’ve taught me.
