Last winter, our Founder/President, Melinda, visited Laval University, one of North America’s largest French-language universities with roots dating back to 1663.⁠

Located in Quebec City, Laval combines a large, comprehensive campus with some uniquely Québécois features, including an extensive underground tunnel network for navigating winter weather and the Montmorency Forest, a vast university-managed forest used for teaching, research, and field-based learning. Students can also get involved in hundreds of associations and clubs or cheer on the nationally recognized Rouge et Or athletics program.

Our campus visits give us the opportunity to learn more about the student experience, campus culture, and unique opportunities each university has to offer.⁠

Want to help athletes experience a sport making its Paralympic debut? Join the Frame Running Volunteer Program and get involved in this one-of-a-kind opportunity.

The West Vancouver Track and Field Club is looking for volunteers for its Frame Running program, which creates opportunities for athletes with a wide range of physical disabilities to participate in sport. Volunteers will work directly with athletes during weekly training sessions, gaining hands-on experience in an inclusive athletic environment.

Volunteers are needed on Saturdays from 11:00 AM –12:00 PM, September 19-November 7.
