Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, we celebrate the rich cultures, languages, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples.

As suknaqínx, sqilxʷ, syilx Okanagan people, our connection to tmixʷ (our lands), siwɬkʷ (waters), and community continue to guide us as we honour our ancestors, celebrate our people, and invest in future generations.
We invite everyone to take time to learn, reflect, and celebrate alongside Indigenous communities today and every day.
