Happy Earth Day!
Little Citizens went on our annual Earth Day walk to pick up litter today. We found a hula hoop, a ladle, and filled a whole bag with other garbage!

The children were mesmerized by the Halloween lava lamp science experiment we did today. We did it 12 times each in green and orange, and it never got old. All you need is oil, coloured water, and Alka-Seltzer tablets to make your own lava lamp too!

In September we read a children's book at circle time that showed a tree made of handprint leaves. The children were inspired to make our own, and we added an autumn twist. All of the children and I contributed our handprints as leaves to create this collaborative classroom autumn tree. They were so excited and proud to see it hanging on the wall today.
