The centre is governed by an incorporated, not-for-profit co-operative founded by members of the Wentworth community.

DAYCARE HOURS: 6am-6pm Mon-Fri
OFFICE HOURS: 9am-6pm Mon-Fri

The Wentworth Learning Centre houses a provincially regulated daycare, a library, computer access site, and VON Meals on Wheels. The Wentworth Learning Centre provides inter-generational educational opportunities and houses a provincially licensed daycare, a library and a community access program site. Nine volunteer directors and 95 members are responsible for co-operative operations. Current efforts focus on raising funds for staffing and maintenance of the learning centre.

CHARITY ANNOUNCEMENT: After almost eleven years of operations, and a lot of hard work, the Wentworth Learning Centre is officially a registered charity!

As a charitable organization, we are now able to offer official receipts on all donations over a $10 value! These receipts can then be used during tax season to gain a non-refundable credit on your income tax.

If you've ever thought about making a donation - now's the time! We're still raising money for our daycare expansion.

BABYSITTING BASICS: Sat Nov 21 - at the Wentworth Library! Limited space available.

This course prepares youth ages 11 to 15 with necessary skills to care for infants, toddlers, and children, including diaper changes, bottle feeding, basic food prep, basic home safety, first aid, and ideas for games and activities.

NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION: As a reminder, the Learning Centre will be CLOSED Wednesday, September 30, to observe the holiday.

This includes the VON Meals on Wheels office.

We will re-open Thursday, October 1.
