Yesterday a group of parents put together a great selection of goodies as a thank you to all staff at WPS! We also took the sticky notes from Art's Night to share with them. Thank you to all the families who contributed!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the recent Arts Night and Fun Fair. It was a wonderful communtiy experience and a HUGE financial success raising approximately $3500 for class experiences and updated equipment.

We need parents to join our school council!

Unfortunately next year's parent council consists of only three members. This means we may not be able to continue operating, and events like the Fun Fair will no longer be possible.

We need members in a variety of roles and capacities, so there may be an opportunity that fits your interests, availability, and skills. Meetings are only once per month with optional time in between to support fundraising and events.

Our final meeting of the year will be held tomorrow, Wed. June 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the school library. A virtual option is also available upon request. Please consider coming out to see what Parent Council is all about. If you have questions feel free to connect with us here!

We are still in need of volunteers for the Wellesley Public School Art's Night and Fun Fair. Without more people stepping forward we may have to cancel some events so please let us know if you can help out. Shifts are 30 mins long and we have a range of activities. Got an old, wooden, or plastic toilet seat gathering dust in the garage? We want it!

We are collecting seats for a carnival game at the Arts Night & Fun Fair on May 26th! Even if they are chipped, cracked, or well-loved.

Send us a message if you have one and we will coordinate getting it! Any colour or material is welcome!

Games Night was a HUGE SUCCESS! We had such a fantastic turnout, and the kids are so excited to have our classrooms stocked with some incredible new games! Thank you to everyone who joined us.

But we still need YOUR help! We are actively looking for volunteers for our upcoming Arts Night and Fun Fair on May 26th. This event is a massive undertaking, and we can’t make it a success without you!

We know spring sport schedules are a big question mark right now, and that's okay. We are happy to take tentative commitments! Even if you aren't 100% sure of your availability, let us know you're interested in helping out in a short shift.

Volunteers Needed – Arts Night and Fun Fair

Our Arts Night & Fun Fair is happening on Tuesday, May 26th and we need your help to make it a fun night for our kids while raising money for the school.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
* Event planning
* Set up/Tidy up (before/after event)
* Helping for 30 minute shifts during the event

We’re also looking for donations of old tickets…..maybe you have some lying around from a past raffle or other event. Single or double, we’re not picky!

Back by popular demand, GAMES NIGHT!

Come join Wellesley Public School Council for afamily friendly evening of board and card games. Funded with PRO and PIC grants, council has worked with teachers and staff to purchase fun and educational games. Come play some old
favourites and find some new ones too! All games will be donated back to the classrooms for
students to enjoy.
