We provide safety education to the residents of Niagara Region with our priority being school children

Our facility provides a variety of key safety topics to children in Grades K-8 in a child-friendly facility.
-Children’s interaction with professionals helps to build trusting relationships with the Fire Fighters, Police Officers and Paramedics
- Continuing to provide practical learning opportunities for children and to increase their knowledge.
- Give them the confidence to take what they have learned and put it into practice as well as share information with family & friends.
- Provide Safety information to parents and caregivers
- Provide referrals to partner agencies

Meet Charis and Amanda! 👋🚑

These ladies are some of the amazing paramedics from Niagara Emergency Medical Services who teach at the Niagara Safety Village!

Through hands-on activities, they help students learn what to do in an emergency, how to call 9-1-1, basic first aid and how paramedics and ambulances help people in our community.

From learning about emergency equipment to building confidence in an emergency, our paramedic instructors help make sure kids know what to do when every second counts.

Niagara Safety Village is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide strategic and operational leadership, build strong community partnerships, support organizational sustainability and help advance Niagara Safety Village’s mission of safety and accident prevention education.

We’re looking for an experienced leader with a strong background in strategic planning, non-profit management, relationship building and organizational leadership who can bring people together around a shared vision for the future.

We had another incredible week at the Niagara Safety Village! 🚲🛑

A huge thank you to the students and teachers from St. Christopher, Heritage Christian, St. Michaels, and Jordan Christian Schools for visiting us.

Teaching young minds the essentials of pedestrian, road, and community safety is at the heart of what we do. Seeing how excited these students are to practice real-world safety skills makes every lesson rewarding.

Our miniature village was all prepped and ready for a fun, action-packed week of real-world safety learning.

Starting off the new school year, we were so thrilled to welcome the staff and students from Wellington Heights, E.I. McCulley, Althorp Montessori, ACRES and John Calvin Christian schools to the Niagara Safety Village this week! 🏫✨

Quick reminder for parents and teachers: We are a strictly nut-free facility, so please pack lunches accordingly! Also, if your students are attending the Grade 3 or 4 Police program, don't forget to pack a proper bicycle helmet.

With the return of students to school this week, the Niagara Safety Village would like to remind drivers to keep a keen eye on kids, buses, crosswalks and school zones on your daily commute.

When a school bus flashes its overhead lights and extends its stop arm, drivers traveling in both directions must come to a complete stop. Children's lives are on the line, and passing a stopped bus is dangerous and illegal.

Here are a few more essential tips to remember every time you get behind the wheel:

🌟Scan the sidewalks
