Painting with ice! 🎨🧊

Our little artists explored colours in a fun and sensorial way as they painted with ice cubes. What a cool activity filled with creativity and beautiful masterpieces!

Little chefs in the Casa Classroom 🧑‍🍳🥒

Our Casa students turned snack time into a fun practical hands-on experience!

The children carefully used knives to cut hotdogs and transformed them into adorable “spider dogs”. They also practiced their cutting skills with fresh cucumbers before using shape cutters to punch out cute designs for their snack. 💚

Through this simple activity, the children practiced fine motor coordination, concentration, independence, and practical life skills—all while preparing something delicious to enjoy.

Creativity was in full spin in our Casa classroom! 🎨🥗✨

Our students discovered a unique way to create beautiful process art using a salad spinner. By adding paint to paper and giving the spinner a whirl, they watched as colourful patterns magically appeared before their eyes. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, strengthened fine motor skills, and introduced simple concepts of motion, cause and effect, and scientific observation—all through joyful exploration.

In Montessori, the process is just as meaningful as the finished product. Watching each child experiment, make predictions, and delight in their one-of-a-kind creations was truly inspiring!

🐚 A week filled with smiles, exploration, and ocean adventures! From sensory bins to creative art and matching activities, our children learned through play while building important skills and making wonderful memories. 🌊✨

“Free activity makes children happy. We can see how happy they are, but it is not the fact that they are happy that is important; the important thing is that a child can construct a man through this free activity.”
~ Maria Montessori ~ 👩‍🏫

I scream, you scream, we ALL scream for ice cream!🍦

The Casa class has been staying cool during all this hot summer heat, and what a better way to embrace the heat than to make ice cream!

The children enjoyed taking turns measuring, spooning, stirring, scooping and (of course), eating this delicious treat.

“The child gives us a beautiful lesson—that in order to maintain our intelligence, we must use our hands.”
~ Maria Montessori ~ 👩‍🏫

🌈 Learning through movement and play!

Our little learner explored a fun activity outside that encouraged reaching, crawling, tracking, and problem-solving. As the ball traveled through colorful tunnels, every movement helped strengthen gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration.

Hello Summer!

The Casa children enjoyed a water themed day to end the school year and welcome Summer time fun! Water play supports children’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional development.
The children enjoyed taking part in creative exploration where they used cups, sponges, and floating toys to test their ideas in a safe and engaging environment.

“In play, children gain deep satisfaction and knowledge from following their own interests.”
