Within one week, we've spotted some more signs of spring! 🌞Classes got out to explore local snowshoe trails in between the rainy days! 🌧 Buds on the trees, grouse out and about, melting snow and soft trail are some of our highlights!

We’ve been making the most of our extended winter, and got to hit the cross-country ski trails! We spent the afternoon in nature enjoying God’s creation, applying our new ski skills, and sharing some hot chocolate and Timbits afterwards. We thank the Wawa Cross Country Ski volunteers for their wonderful work maintaining the trails all winter long!

On Saturday, St. Augustine French Immersion partnered with the Wawa Cross-Country Ski Club to host an intro to Cross-Country skiing event for the Wawa Winter Carnival! Thank you goes out to the MMCC rec staff for their support, to Matt Trudeau for helping teach, and Ben Cartledge for grooming the track for our event! We had over 42 participants and many interested in trying out this wonderful sport!
