General information
As a performance art club, the first step in setting ourselves up for success, is making sure all students feel comfortable with each other. The topic of conversation should always been about something useful, not small talk, so that everyone learns something that the other is passionate, or confused about.
Next, we try to use that person's passion or confusion to fuel a poem. To drive the student to go into depth of their problems or passions. The Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? allowing them to understand their emotions and put them into words for others to hear.
Workshops by proven spoken word artists will also be used during club meetings to help with our techniques to better enhance our art.
