Was super excited to finally get to do a collab with Ren Navarro | HR consulting | DEI education | Drinks expert. Ren came by and we had a super fun time hanging out and chatting while we brewed this delicious ESB with Earl Grey Tea. Nice English malt and EKG hops combined with the black tea and bergamot. Come check it out in cans and pouring on nitro starting tomorrow!

Yesterday we brewed the fifth and final collaboration beer for Bickford Brewing Co.’s 2nd Anniversary series.

Ren Navarro (Ren Navarro | HR consulting | DEI education | Drinks expert) is a drinks expert and culture consultant with years of experience in craft beer. A while back, Ren stopped by for a beer and we had a chat about some of our favourite beer styles, and somewhere along the way we landed on the idea of brewing an ESB with Earl Grey tea.

This week, we finally got to bring that idea to life.

Ren joined us for brew day as we made Tea S.B. An ESB built with classic English malts and Quebec-grown East Kent Goldings hops. We’ll be adding loose-leaf Earl Grey tea to the fermenter, bringing light tannins and beautiful bergamot character to complement the malt-forward base.

You can find Tea S.B. on tap and in cans at Bickford Brewing Co. starting September 12.

And if you happen to run into Ren in the wild, say hi and buy her a beer. She’s one of the best people you’ll meet.

Beer. Diversity. turned five this year, so it was time for a logo refresh. But not only that, but an alternate logo! B. Diversity. is the non-alc version of the company, allowing me to work with schools, corporations and associations who are not interested in (or avoiding) alcohol.
