Today’s challenge: making sense of uncertainty!

Renison’s Design Thinking students used puzzles and fabric pieces to explore how people respond to uncertainty. Through collaboration, observation, and discussion, they discovered that when faced with incomplete information, different mindsets can lead to different approaches. The activity sparked thoughtful conversations about perspective, problem-solving, and adaptability.

Our Tohoku University engineering students in Renison’s Design Thinking program had the amazing opportunity to explore the Waterloo Engineering Sedra Design Centre on campus this week! 🏎️

We loved making so many new friends at last night’s Bonfire Party in our courtyard. 🔥

We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs, played sports games and other fun outdoor games together, and enjoyed the beautiful Canadian summer evening. 🇨🇦

Thank you for an incredible 15 weeks to our Go Abroad: Learning for Sustainability (GOALS) student whose journey came to a close with us today. 🎉

We wish you all the best and safe travels as you return home. We hope you had an amazing experience at Renison University College, and will be returning to your home country with many happy memories.
