Located in Renison University College at the University of Waterloo, Renison ELI supports more than 1000 students from 35 countries each year in achieving their academic and professional goals. Today is the National Day of Action for MMIWG2S+.

Also known as Sisters in Spirit Day, October 4 honours Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two-Spirit and gender-diverse people, and the families and communities who continue to seek answers and justice.

Members of the Waterloo community can continue learning and reflecting through Bridge: Honouring the Lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirit People, with ceremonies taking place on October 9 and 26 at United College.

The four weeks provided ample opportunities to enhance our communication, language, intercultural, and teamwork skills through an engaging series of courses, events, and trips.

It was a nail biter game but our General English At Renison (GEAR) students had the chance to watch the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Cincinnati Reds last night at the Rogers Centre! ⚾️

It was our last event with our GEAR students who return home this weekend. Thank you for a wonderful four weeks, GEAR!
