Faculty of Science Students' Association The Faculty of Science Students' Association provides a diverse and enlightening experience to enhance the Laurier Science Community.

The Faculty of Science Students’ Association is a group of science students that hope to provide a diverse and enlightening experience to the Laurier Science Community, which is comprised of over 4,000 students. By providing our services, we hope to inspire other students to do the same in the future. Our vision is to give science students a chance to succeed in a highly competitive field, and allowing them to participate in something bigger and memorable, something they can cherish in the future. We plan on enhancing the university experience for all students officially registered in the programs offered by the Faculty of Science, including you! FOSSA will provide activities, information and services to enhance the educational, cultural, environmental and social conditions of its members throughout the year. We also hope to serve as a liaison between the various affiliated student clubs in the Faculty of Science and the Students’ Union. COURSE MATERIALS ADDING UP? FOSSA HAS YOU COVERED! 💸

From textbooks and calculators to lab coats and other required supplies, we know that preparing for a new term can get expensive. That’s why FOSSA is offering students the opportunity to get 50% or up to $150 of their required course material costs reimbursed!

Who can apply?

🔬 Undergraduate students pursuing a degree in the Faculty of Science

🛒 Students who have purchased/accessed their required course materials through the approved sources

🧾 Students who can provide proof of purchase (receipt, etc.)

📋 Students who complete the reimbursement application before the deadline

What can be covered?

📚 Textbooks
🧮 Calculators
🥼 Lab coats
🧪 Other required course supplies

📅 Applications close October 26th at 11:59 PM!

We are grateful for every one of YOU for coming out to our events, wearing your Science sweaters around campus, stopping by FOSSA Fuel, entering our giveaways, and staying connected through Instagram, our newsletter Monthly Challenges, and more.
