Join Waterloo's Concrete Toboggan Team as we build Canada’s safest and fastest tbog!
Every year, our team designs, builds, and races a new concrete toboggan for the winter and a concrete canoe for the summer! This process involves detailed concrete mix design, structural analysis of the toboggan frame or canoe hull, mechanical braking and steering system design, project management, and many other areas. Waterloo is proud to have taken home the Sustainability Award (for the lowest CO2 equivalent emissions concrete mix design) in the 2022 CNCCC - CNCCB! A huge thank you to our sponsors whose support gives students such incredible experiential learning opportunities!
