Students can sign up for 20-minute slots to walk through their code, ask questions, and get honest feedback on what’s working, what could be improved, and how to take their project to the next level.

📣 Are you passionate about Google’s technologies and want to contribute to a cool project with CSC?

If so, apply to join one of two CSC projects sponsored by Google! 🙌

📖 These projects are related to Google’s AlloyDB, their new high performant PostgreSQL compatible database!

Project 1: Enterprise GitOps & Multi-Persona Lifecycle Management with Argo CD: Build a secure, GitOps-driven deployment and operational pipeline for AlloyDB Omni using Argo CD and GitHub.
Key Skills Required:
● Strong foundation in Kubernetes architecture (RBAC, Namespaces, CRDs).
● Experience with GitOps tools, specifically Argo CD.
● Familiarity with Helm or Kustomize templating.
● Basic understanding of stateful systems on Kubernetes.

Project 2: Out-of-the-Box Database Security Auditing & Anomaly Detection: Build an engine for AlloyDB cloud that ingests pgAudit logs, build lightweight in-memory statistical profiles of normal database traffic, and flag real-time threat vectors without relying on high-cost, high-latency LLMs.

Key Skills Required:
● Proficiency in Python.
● Experience with database interaction libraries and PostgreSQL concepts.
● Familiarity with LLM application frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).
● Basic understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and full-text search (FTS).

👀 Gain relevant experience with mentorship from CSC execs and Google engineers, as well as connections with the Google team!
