Evan specializes in teaching composition and improvisation, and adults looking to improve on their existing piano skills or looking to try it out for the first time. Lessons with Evan are very flexible in terms of material and concepts covered, so you can let him know exactly what skills you’d like to develop!

INTRODUCING ALYSSA
Alyssa Garcia began her music studies from an early age and has been enjoying piano studies her entire life. As a child she was enamored with the ability to express through a wide range of repertoire and developed a deep love of music. She studied through Toronto’s Royal Conservatory of Music and holds a Grade 10 in Piano Performance and Grade 10 in Counterpoint & Theory. She has performed on multiple occasions in the Kiwanis Music Festival and also worked as an accompanist for The Georgian Bay Children’s Choir. When she is not at the piano, she works as a visual artist and illustrator – combining her multifaceted love of the arts. Her teaching experience includes 5+ years of running a private studio in addition to working with local music studios.
Alyssa is passionate about supporting others in their exploration of music and creative expression. She loves to cultivate a warm teaching environment that is tailored towards each student’s unique needs, while also creating an inviting space to have fun! She especially enjoys working with beginners as they discover their music abilities for the first time. Her dream as a teacher is to inspire others to achieve their musical goals, while encouraging a deep appreciation of the piano.

NICOLE WEINBERG - Piano
Nicole is a dedicated and passionate piano teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. With more than 20 years of piano playing under her belt, Nicole has developed a deep love and understanding of music that she is eager to share with her students.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours, specializing in music, and has completed advanced studies in Music Therapy at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her training includes comprehensive coursework and clinical practice in therapeutic techniques, equipping her with a unique perspective on the emotional and psychological benefits of music.
Nicole has achieved Grades 9 and 10 in RCM piano with first-class honours and is comfortable teaching students of all levels, up to Level 8 RCM. She has extensive experience working with students of all ages, from 7 to 70, and tailors her lessons to fit each student’s individual goals and interests.
Nicole is known for her fun and engaging teaching style, making lessons enjoyable while fostering a deep connection to the music. Her ultimate goal is to ignite a lifelong passion for music in each of her students, helping them to achieve their full potential while enjoying every step of the journey.
