As part of their 2025–26 artist residency at Brubacher House, Amir Al-Azraki, Associate Professor at Renison, and Janna Martin, sessional lecturer at Renison, are working on a forum theatre project about Indigenous–Mennonite relations in Waterloo Region.
The project is based on a real-life experience shared by a local Indigenous leader who participated in Janna’s doctoral research, and invites participants to step into a scene, ask questions, and think through different ways a difficult moment could unfold.
