Here are some of the amazing photos we got from the Feeding 9 Billion Challenge this past weekend!
Feel free to tag yourselves and share these photos with friends, peers, and clubs on campus you are a part of!
On October 21-22, 2016, a diverse group of Laurier students were brought together for the Feeding 9 Billion Challenge! Student participants from all faculties were split into teams and tasked with creating innovative solutions to the issue of food security at a local, regional, and/or global level. Students were supported throughout the Challenge by faculty members, staff associates, and community experts on food security issues, sustainable food practices, and social entrepreneurship. At the event's culmination, teams pitched their ideas to a panel of judges, and the most innovative and sustainable solutions were recognized with prize money!
Stay tuned to see where these ideas go in the future!
