Today, United College celebrates Rick’s final day as Principal.
Rick’s leadership has left a meaningful mark on our community. Throughout his time as Principal, he has led with care, wisdom, humility, and a deep commitment to the people who make United College so special.
Earlier this month, members of our community gathered at Rick’s open house to share memories, gratitude, and well wishes as he prepares for his next chapter. It was a beautiful reflection of the many lives he has impacted through his leadership and service.
Although today marks the end of Rick’s role as Principal, it is not goodbye. We look forward to welcoming him back to United College in the future when he returns to teach.
On behalf of the United College community, thank you, Rick, for your leadership, dedication, and lasting contributions.
We wish you all the very best in this next chapter and we’ll see you soon.

Big ideas have a way of growing at United College.
When Trishala Pillai joined GreenHouse as a student, she brought curiosity and a strong desire to make a difference. Years later, she’s being recognized with United College’s Emerging Alumni Award for a career dedicated to building community, amplifying voices, and creating meaningful social impact.
Her story is a reminder that some of the most transformative university experiences begin with a conversation, a community, and the confidence to pursue an idea.
