⚽️ Looking back on this year’s annual TCC Soccer Tournament, we couldn’t be prouder of our athletes and the way they represented our school.

A special congratulations to our Junior Boys Soccer Team for an incredible 2nd place finish! 🥈👏 Their teamwork, determination, and effort throughout the tournament were outstanding.

A huge shoutout also goes to team captain and tournament MVP, Yousuf Ayed, who had a phenomenal performance, scoring around 10 goals on the day! 🔥⚽️

Well done to all of our players for their hard work and sportsmanship. You represented us proudly both on and off the field!

🌙✨ Today at Tayba, we celebrated Eid with our students in the best way possible!

Our Eid Fun Day was filled with exciting games, activities, laughter, and lots of smiles throughout the day. JK to Grade 4 students also took part in a special Hajj simulation, giving them a meaningful hands-on learning experience while celebrating this blessed season.

Tayba Elementary School’s Student Council recently organized a food drive to support lower-income families in the Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo region 🤍

With the generous sponsorship of Droplets of Mercy, we were able to put together over 40 food bags, carefully and intentionally prepared in different sizes based on each family’s needs. On May 1st, students stayed after school to shop, organize, and pack the bags, and on May 2nd, they joined us again to help deliver them to families in the community.

This initiative was more than just a food drive — it was a meaningful lesson in community service, gratitude, privilege, leadership, and the importance of giving back to those around us. We are so proud of our students for the compassion, teamwork, and dedication they showed throughout this experience 🌟

In April, our students took part in the annual SLAM Poetry Contest in Mississauga, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who stepped up to share their voices. A special shoutout to Anas Ahmed and Yousof Kadamani, whose powerful performance earned them 3rd place in their division. Congratulations to them and to all of our students who represented us with confidence, creativity, and heart. 👏
