CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE!

Congratulations to Sharon Foran, recipient of the 2026 Drayton Entertainment Teacher of Excellence Award.

Created to recognize an outstanding secondary school educator who demonstrates exceptional skill, dedication, and passion for arts education, this award is especially meaningful because the nominations come directly from the students of our High School Musical Production.

Sharon was nominated by many students for the impact she has had not only in the classroom, but in their lives. Through her ability to inspire, engage and create meaningful opportunities for young people, she demonstrates the lasting power of arts education, building confidence, connection and life skills that can carry forward for generations.

The award was presented to Sharon at the opening night of Disney’s The Little Mermaid on September 24 at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge.

A BIG congratulations to Sienna Rader and Oliver Woon, two talented young performers who will be taking the stage in 13 Going on 30: The Musical with Mirvish Productions this winter!

Sienna joined the Academy this summer as part of our first-ever Junior Triple Threat Intensive, and we’re thrilled to see her take this exciting next step.
Oliver is no stranger to the stage, having played Peter Davies in Drayton Entertainment’s production of Finding Neverland this season.

We’re so excited to see Sienna and Oliver bring their talent, energy, and passion to 13 Going on 30! Watching our young performers continue to grow is one of the things we love most about what we do!

WEEK ONE OF FALL SESSION IS DONE!

And just like that, the Academy is buzzing again.

From our youngest performers learning their very first songs, to adults stepping into the room to challenge themselves and learn something new, it was a week full of big smiles, new friendships, growing confidence and lots of FUN.

For some students, this was their first time walking through our doors. For others, it was the familiar feeling of coming back to a place where they know they belong.

One week in, and every class is already finding its groove. We can’t wait to see the friendships grow, the confidence build, and the students discover just how much they’re capable of over the next 12 weeks.

There’s so much more to come.

Drop-in classes are still available for Broadway Beat and Show Tunes Sweat. Link in below to register!
